Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 15, 2005. Female patient, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder  and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clonus, hyperreflexia, muscle spasticity, musculoskeletal stiffness, oral intake reduced, serotonin syndrome. Fluvoxamine dosage: 150 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOTHROXINE, CALCIUM CARBONATE, VITAMIN W. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, chills, clonus, dysphonia, hyperreflexia, mydriasis, serotonin syndrome. Fluvoxamine dosage: 200 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE HYDROCHLORIDE, DICLOFENAC, RALOXIFENE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, hyperhidrosis, hyperreflexia, hyperthermia, mental status changes, myoclonus, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, restlessness, rhabdomyolysis. Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOMIPRAMINE, LITHIUM CARBONATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE. Patient died.

Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THORAZNE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
