Fluvoxamine Side Effects Report #4911394-2
Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Physician from AUSTRALIA on Jan 28, 2006. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with depression , radius fracture and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , blood creatine phosphokinase increased, chills, clonus, dysphonia, hyperreflexia, mydriasis, serotonin syndrome. Fluvoxamine dosage: 200 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE HYDROCHLORIDE, DICLOFENAC, RALOXIFENE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 65 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with depression , ill-defined disorder, psychotic disorder  and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, hyperhidrosis, hyperreflexia, hyperthermia, mental status changes, myoclonus, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, restlessness, rhabdomyolysis. Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOMIPRAMINE, LITHIUM CARBONATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, depression , disease recurrence, fall , impaired driving ability, malaise, nightmare, pain . Fluvoxamine dosage: 300 MG ONCE DAILY PO. Patient recovered.
