Fluvoxamine Side Effects Report #5345092-0
Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 16, 2006. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 181.9 lb, was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder , schizophrenia and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, akathisia, drooling, energy increased, extrapyramidal disorder, faecal incontinence, obsessive thoughts, paranoia, posture abnormal. Fluvoxamine dosage: 150 MG (150 MG, ONCE A DAY), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE, ONDANSETRON, VALPROATE, OMEPRAZOLE, OLANZAPINE, ALPRAZOLAM, MIRALAX. Patient recovered.

Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Aug 04, 2008. Male patient was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, activation syndrome, agitation, anorexia, anxiety , asphyxia, completed suicide, condition aggravated, constipation . Fluvoxamine dosage: 50 MG (50 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MIANSERIN. Patient died.

Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THORAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
