Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 28, 2007. Male patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder What is  obsessive-compulsive disorder and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, aggression, anger, condition aggravated, crying, dissociation, homicidal ideation, insomnia. Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 24 years of age, weighting 171.7 lb, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, loss of consciousness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema, respiratory arrest, snoring What is  snoring. Fluvoxamine dosage: DAILY DOSE: 250 MILLIGRAM(S), FREQUENCY: ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with METOCLOPRAMIDE, PROPERICIAZINE, PROMETHAZINE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, SULPIRIDE, BROTIZORAM. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, body temperature increased, completed suicide, conjunctival hyperaemia, hepatic steatosis, intentional misuse, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pulmonary congestion. Fluvoxamine dosage: DAILY DOSE: 250 MILLIGRAM(S), FREQUENCY: ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with METOCLOPRAMIDE, PROPERICIAZINE, PROMETHAZINE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, SULPIRIDE, BROTIZORAM. Patient died.
