Fluvoxamine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 28, 2007. Male patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder
and was treated with Fluvoxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, aggression, anger, condition aggravated, crying, dissociation, homicidal ideation, insomnia. Fluvoxamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE, FLUVOXAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, loss of consciousness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pulmonary congestion, pulmonary oedema, respiratory arrest, snoring

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, body temperature increased, completed suicide, conjunctival hyperaemia, hepatic steatosis, intentional misuse, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pulmonary congestion. Fluvoxamine dosage: DAILY DOSE: 250 MILLIGRAM(S), FREQUENCY: ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with METOCLOPRAMIDE, PROPERICIAZINE, PROMETHAZINE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, SULPIRIDE, BROTIZORAM. Patient died.
