Fluvastatin Side Effects Report #5573273-X
Fluvastatin side effect was reported by a Physician from PUERTO RICO on Dec 18, 2007. Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 148.6 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, osteoporosis postmenopausal and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrophy, convulsion, headache , loss of consciousness, pyrexia, vomiting. Fluvastatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RECLAST, CALCIUM, VITAMIN D3. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 23 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amenorrhoea, aspartate aminotransferase increased, autoimmune thyroiditis, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, hypothyroidism, myalgia, pyrexia, rhabdomyolysis. Fluvastatin dosage: 20 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL. Patient recovered.
