Fluvastatin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 04, 2007. Female patient, 68 years of age, weighting 173.9 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, osteoporosis postmenopausal and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, dehydration, hypokalaemia, muscular weakness, nausea , pelvic pain , rash , urinary tract infection . Fluvastatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RECLAST, VITAMIN D3, CALCIUM. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 221.6 lb, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood urea abnormal, dehydration, diarrhoea, feeling hot, heat exhaustion, nausea , polydipsia, polyuria. Fluvastatin dosage: 20 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ABACAVIR SULPHATE LAMIVUDINE AND ZIDOVUDINE, ASPIRIN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, TAMSULOSIN, METFORMIN, GABAPENTIN, TESTOSTERONE, MORPHINE SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
