Fluvastatin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TURKEY on June 27, 2005. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia, gouty arthritis and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, blood urea increased, blood uric acid increased, dehydration. Fluvastatin dosage: 80MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with COLCHICINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fluvastatin dosage: 40 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, TAXILAN, BELOC ZOK, NEUROCIL, TRIMIPRAMINE MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
