Fluvastatin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 04, 2007. Female patient, 68 years of age, weighting 173.9 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, osteoporosis postmenopausal and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, dehydration, hypokalaemia, muscular weakness, nausea , pelvic pain , rash , urinary tract infection . Fluvastatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RECLAST, VITAMIN D3, CALCIUM. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic heart disease prophylaxis and was treated with Fluvastatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, chromaturia, chronic hepatic failure, fatigue, haemodialysis. Fluvastatin dosage: 80 MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PREDNISONE, AMLODIPINE, HUMALOG, LANTUS, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, RANITIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
