After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hyponatraemia. Fluphenazine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Fluphenazine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from CROATIA (local name: Hrvatska) on June 05, 2007. Male patient, 44 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was treated with Fluphenazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood chloride decreased, bradypnoea, brain oedema, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, hyperglycaemia, hyponatraemia, hypotension, hypoventilation. Fluphenazine dosage: 40 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with HALOPERIDOL, ALPRAZOLAM, DIAZEPAM, PAROXETINE, OLANZAPINE, FLUPHENAZINE DECANOATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BROMAZEPAM. Patient died.
