Fludrocortisone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 14, 2007. Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with orthostatic hypotension and was treated with Fludrocortisone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: headache What is  headache, hypertension, nausea What is  nausea, pruritus, rash What is  rash. Fludrocortisone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL TARTRATE, MIDODRINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Fludrocortisone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 20, 2007. Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 167.0 lb, was diagnosed with hypotension and was treated with Fludrocortisone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: delirium, hypertension, hypokalaemia, mental status changes, metabolic alkalosis. Fludrocortisone dosage: 0.3 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with OXYBUTYNIN, HYDROCORTISONE, MIDODRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
