Fludara Side Effects Report #6081639-7
Fludara side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 13, 2009. Male patient, 18 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoma, febrile neutropenia, infection prophylaxis and was treated with Fludara. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease, catheter related infection, cystitis haemorrhagic, cytomegalovirus infection , engraftment syndrome, febrile neutropenia, histiocytosis haematophagic, liver disorder. Fludara dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 50 MG UNIT DOSE: 50 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, TARGOCID, FUNGUARD, METHOTREXATE, MELPHALAN, LYMPHOGLOBULINE, PREDONINE, BAKTAR. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Fludara. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia transformation, disease progression, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, liver disorder, lung infiltration, multi-organ failure, platelet count decreased. Fludara dosage: 30 MG, 1X/DAY, INTRAVENOUS. Patient died on 07/24/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chronic lymphocytic leukaemia transformation, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic failure, liver disorder, lung infiltration, multi-organ failure, pulmonary oedema, renal failure, respiratory failure. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholangitis, gastrointestinal disorder, graft versus host disease, haemolytic anaemia, hallucination, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure, liver disorder, loss of consciousness. Fludara dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, METHOTREXATE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/10/2004.
