Floxacillin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 22, 2003. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with cellulitis What is  cellulitis and was treated with Floxacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, fall What is  fall, loss of consciousness, pruritus, vomiting. Floxacillin dosage: 20 MG, BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, ASPIRIN, FOSINOPRIL, MEPROBAMATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with abscess What is  abscess, deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis and was treated with Floxacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coagulation time prolonged, confusional state, haematuria, melaena, subdural haematoma. Floxacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLINDAMYCIN, WARFARIN. Patient recovered.
