Flixotide Side Effects Report #5326338-1
Flixotide side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on May 11, 2007. Male patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 48.94 lb, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Flixotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acth stimulation test abnormal, adrenal insufficiency, adrenal suppression, blood antidiuretic hormone increased, blood corticotrophin abnormal, blood cortisol decreased, brain oedema, encephalopathy. Flixotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SERETIDE, MONTELUKAST, SALMETEROL, SALBUTAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 6 years of age, weighting 33.86 lb, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Flixotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, adrenal insufficiency, blood cortisol decreased, fatigue, growth retardation, nausea , upper respiratory tract infection. Flixotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ENTOCORT EC, SALBUTAMOL, SALMETEROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, adrenal insufficiency, adrenocortical insufficiency acute, blood cortisol decreased, fatigue, growth retardation, nausea , upper respiratory tract infection. Flixotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BUDESONIDE, SALBUTAMOL, SALMETEROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , adrenal disorder, adrenal insufficiency, adrenal suppression, blood chloride decreased, blood glucose decreased, brain oedema, c-reactive protein increased, cardiogenic shock. Flixotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SERETIDE, MONTELUKAST. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal insufficiency, blood cortisol decreased, brain oedema, cardiac arrest , convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, influenza like illness, intracranial pressure increased, loss of consciousness. Flixotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BETNESOL, SALMETEROL XINAFOATE, CROMOGLYCATE, SINGULAIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/24/2001.
