Finasteride side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on July 22, 2005. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Finasteride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: prostatic specific antigen abnormal, prostatic specific antigen increased. Finasteride dosage: 5 MG DAILY; PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
