Finasteride side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 24, 2006. Male patient, 58 years of age, weighting 178.6 lb, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Finasteride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: feeling abnormal, hypoaesthesia, paraesthesia, pruritus, rash . Finasteride dosage: 5 MG QD. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, DOXAZOSIN, FLUNISOLIDE, FLUOXETINE, FOLIC ACID, FISH OIL, OMEPRAZOLE, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 195.0 lb, was diagnosed with alopecia and was treated with Finasteride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anger, asthenia, confusional state, depression , erectile dysfunction , feeling abnormal, loss of libido, poor quality sleep. Finasteride dosage: 1.25MG DAILY PO. Patient recovered.
