Ferrous Side Effects Report #4807139-7
Ferrous side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with medical diet, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypoparathyroidism and was treated with Ferrous. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, asthenia, fatigue, haemoglobin decreased. Ferrous dosage: 35MG. During the same period patient was treated with NOVOLIN, FOSINOPRIL, COMBIVENT, ADVAIR DISKUS, LOTREL, TARKA, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, dyspnoea, erythema, gait disturbance, hypersensitivity, joint swelling, oedema peripheral, pain . Ferrous dosage: 320 MG QD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ANTIBIOTICS, OXYCONTIN, PERCOCET, AMBIEN. Patient recovered.

Ferrous dosage: 325 MG M-W-F. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, NIFEDIPINE, TARCEVA, VITAMINS AND IRON, CALCIUM, MEGACE, AUGMENTIN, CARBOPLATIN W. Patient recovered.
