Ferric side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 22, 2008. Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with anaemia, atrial fibrillation
and was treated with Ferric. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, cardio-respiratory arrest, cough, eye rolling, headache
, hypotension, loss of consciousness, skin burning sensation, syncope. Ferric dosage: 500 MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with FERRIC NA GLUCONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
