Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia, diabetes mellitus inadequate control and was treated with Fenofibrate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, liver function test abnormal, metabolic disorder , myopathy, renal impairment. Fenofibrate dosage: 200 MG; QD; PO. During the same period patient was treated with ROSIGLITAZONE, PHENPROCOUMON, VALSARTAN, SYMPATHOMIMETICS, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
