Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertriglyceridaemia, coronary artery disease  and was treated with Fenofibrate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemodialysis, metabolic acidosis, renal failure acute, rhabdomyolysis. Fenofibrate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, ASPIRIN, BETA BLOCKING AGENTS, ACE INHIBITOR NOS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
