Female patient, 17 years of age, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with keratitis herpetic and was treated with Famvir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, chromaturia, fatigue, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatitis , hyperhidrosis, syncope. Famvir dosage: 500 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN. Patient recovered.
