Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Famvir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eyelid oedema, pharyngeal oedema, speech disorder, swelling face. Famvir dosage: 500 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL, GLUCOTROL, GLUCOPHAGE, AVANDIA, PROTONIX, LEVOTHYROXINE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
