Famvir side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on July 27, 2006. Female patient, 89 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Famvir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, delirium, disorientation, headache , urinary tract infection . Famvir dosage: 500 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with LOSEC, METHOTREXATE, ACTONEL, TIMOPTIC, ALTACE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
