Famotidine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Oct 06, 2005. Male patient, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, thrombosis prophylaxis and was treated with Famotidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection , neutropenia, purpura, thrombocytopenia, white blood cell count decreased. Famotidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TICLOPIDINE, ASPIRIN, CANDESARTAN, NICORANDIL, SPIRONOLACTONE, CLILOSTAZOL, CEFATAXIM, GABEXATE MESILATE. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with TICLOPIDINE, ASPIRIN, CANDESARTAN, NICORANDIL. Patient recovered.
