Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with clostridial infection, cholecystitis and was treated with Famotidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: clostridium difficile colitis. Famotidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMINOGLYCOSIDES, VANCOMYCIN, METRONIDAZOLE. Patient died.

Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with clostridial infection, cholecystitis and was treated with Famotidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, acidosis, apnoea, blood creatine increased, cardiogenic shock, clostridium difficile colitis, crepitations, dehydration, dyspnoea. Famotidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFUROXIME, GENTAMICIN, AMIKACIN, CEFAMANDOLE, CEFTRIAXONE, VANCOMYCIN, METRONIDAZOLE, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died.
