Famotidine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 20, 2004. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal haemorrhage, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, sinus tachycardia, hypotonia, neuromuscular blockade reversal, myocardial ischaemia and was treated with Famotidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood potassium increased, blood pressure decreased, bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, liver disorder, mesenteric occlusion, multi-organ failure. Famotidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISOFLURANE, FENTANYL CITRATE, HEPARIN, ESMOLOL, THIOPENTAL, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, NEOSTIGMINE METILSULPHATE, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE. Patient died.

Female patient, 85 years of age, weighting 77.16 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis What is  cellulitis and was treated with Famotidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, electrocardiogram qt prolonged. Famotidine dosage: 10 MG, BID;. During the same period patient was treated with MOXIFLOXACIN, NIFEDIPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
