Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from KOREA, REPUBLIC OF on Jan 27, 2006. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biopsy skin abnormal, erythema annulare, lymphocytic infiltration, rash , rash erythematous, skin oedema. Famciclovir dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 31, 2005. Male patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes simplex ophthalmic and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia macrocytic, haematuria, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, myocardial infarction, purpura, rash . Famciclovir dosage: 250-500 MG. Patient died.
