Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 28, 2008. Female patient, 67 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, burning sensation, eschar, fibrin, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, palpable purpura, pigmentation disorder, pruritus, rash papular. Famciclovir dosage: 500 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with GLYBURIDE, METFORMIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, CETIRIZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
