Famciclovir Side Effects Report #6097005-4
Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 18, 2009. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with herpes zoster, eye disorder and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, dysphonia, eosinophilia, erythema multiforme, leukocytosis, oral mucosa erosion, pharyngeal oedema. Famciclovir dosage: 1500MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOFLOXACIN, MECOBALAMIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, TEPRENONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
