Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on May 07, 2008. Female patient, 92 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion. Famciclovir dosage: 500 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PRINIVIL, DICHLOTRIDE, NICOTINIC ACID, ACETAMINOPHEN, ACETAMINOPHEN W. Patient recovered.

Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 23, 2009. Male patient was diagnosed with herpes zoster, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, blood chloride decreased, dizziness , hyponatraemia, inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion, nausea . Famciclovir dosage: 1500MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE, GLIBENCLAMIDE, METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
