Famciclovir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Mar 06, 2009. Male patient was diagnosed with herpes zoster, eye disorder and was treated with Famciclovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, dysphonia, eosinophilia, epiglottic oedema, erythema multiforme, leukocytosis. Famciclovir dosage: 1500MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOFLOXACIN, MECOBALAMIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, TEPRENONE, MUCOSTA, ZILDASAC, FLUMETA PASTE, KALLIDINOGENASE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
