Ezetimibe side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 07, 2007. Male patient, 85 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Ezetimibe. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: quadriparesis, renal failure, rhabdomyolysis. Ezetimibe dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Ezetimibe side effect was reported by a Health Professional from NETHERLANDS on Sept 16, 2005. Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Ezetimibe. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood amylase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, hepatic function abnormal, influenza like illness, renal failure, rhabdomyolysis. Ezetimibe dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, GEMFIBROZIL, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, ATENOLOL, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
