Eupantol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 14, 2005. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with oesophageal ulcer, endocarditis What is  endocarditis, cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and was treated with Eupantol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, cholestasis, condition aggravated, cytomegalovirus infection What is  cytomegalovirus infection, endocarditis bacterial, febrile bone marrow aplasia, multi-organ failure, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Eupantol dosage: 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, GANCICLOVIR, FOSCAVIR, GENTAMICIN, VFEND, BACTRIM, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with infection What is  infection and was treated with Eupantol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, aortic valve disease, disturbance in attention, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, histiocytosis haematophagic, leukopenia, multi-organ failure, nervous system disorder, systemic lupus erythematosus. Eupantol dosage: 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIPARINE, MERONEM, LEVOFLOXACIN, FLUCONAZOLE, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
