Etravirine Side Effects Report #5275414-0
Etravirine side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Mar 14, 2007. Male patient, weighting 114.6 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , mycobacterium avium complex infection, cytomegalovirus chorioretinitis and was treated with Etravirine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, diarrhoea, hepatic cirrhosis, spinal fracture. Etravirine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREZISTA, RITONAVIR, TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATE, STAVUDINE, ETHAMBUTOL HYDROCHLORIDE, CLARITHROMYCIN, VALGANCICLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 03/20/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with PREZISTA, NORVIR, INVESTIGATIONAL INTEGRASE INHIBITORS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
