Etomidate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 21, 2006. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with anaesthesia, coronary artery surgery and was treated with Etomidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, hypotension, procedural complication. Etomidate dosage: 0.3 MG/KG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arrhythmia What is  arrhythmia, procedural complication, ventricular tachycardia. Etomidate dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
