Etomidate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on June 20, 2005. Male patient, 45 years of age, weighting 240.3 lb, was diagnosed with light anaesthesia and was treated with Etomidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, post procedural complication, tremor. Etomidate dosage: 20 MG ONCE INTRAVENOU. Patient recovered.

Etomidate side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 08, 2007. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia and was treated with Etomidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal insufficiency, haemodynamic instability, hypotension, lethargy, post procedural complication, sinus bradycardia. Etomidate dosage: 0.3 MG/KG, ONCE, NOT REPORTED ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with SUCCINYLCHOLINE CHLORIDE. Patient recovered.
