Etomidate side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Dec 05, 2008. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with sedation and was treated with Etomidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: decerebration, hyperglycaemia, loss of consciousness, metabolic acidosis, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Etomidate dosage: 30MG BOLUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
