Etomidate side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 04, 2008. Male patient, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with endotracheal intubation and was treated with Etomidate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , coma, incorrect dose administered. Etomidate dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/15/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, cardiac arrest , hypotension, procedural complication. Etomidate dosage: 0.3 MG/KG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
