Etodolac side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 06, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Etodolac. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biliary tract disorder, haematocrit decreased, hepatic failure, jaundice , platelet count decreased. Etodolac dosage: 400 MG 1X PER 1 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SALAZOSULFAPYRIDINE, PREDNISONE, FAMOTIDINE, TICLOPIDINE, ALFACALCIDOL, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, KETOPROFEN, UROSFALK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, METFORMIN, PERCOCET, ATENOLOL, SIMVASTATIN, GLYBURIDE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
