Etodolac and chest discomfort Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Etodolac Side Effects Report #5170313-7
Etodolac side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Nov 20, 2006. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Etodolac. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, chest discomfort, chest pain , dyspnoea, gastric ulcer perforation, gastrointestinal fistula, inflammation, pleural effusion, pneumothorax. Etodolac dosage: 400 MG; QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, ORAPRED, METHOTREXATE, FAMOTIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
