Etodolac Side Effects Report #5162270-4
Etodolac side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 13, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Etodolac. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, asthma , dizziness , emphysema, hypotension, pallor, respiratory arrest. Etodolac dosage: 300 MG 3X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VASOTEC, ELDEPRYL, SINEMET, PREDNISONE, NITROSTAT, METHOTREXATE, TRAZODONE. Patient died on 09/13/2000.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, asthma , dizziness , dyspnoea, emphysema, hypotension, pallor, respiratory arrest. Etodolac dosage: 300 MG 3X PER 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VASOTEC. Patient died on 09/13/2000.

Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 197.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain , cardiovascular disorder and was treated with Etodolac. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, asthenia, colitis ischaemic, colon cancer, crohn's disease , diverticulitis, lower gastrointestinal haemorrhage, nausea . Etodolac dosage: 300 MG BID PRN PO. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, ACETAMINOPHEN, CALCIUM, CARBAMAZEPINE, CLOTRIMAZOLE, CYANCOBALAMIN, DOCUSATE, ESTROGENS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, duodenal ulcer, gastric ulcer, haematocrit decreased. Etodolac dosage: 400MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, METFORMIN, PERCOCET, ATENOLOL, SIMVASTATIN, GLYBURIDE, ENALAPRIL MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alcohol use, asthenia, cardio-respiratory arrest, coma, constipation , diarrhoea, electromechanical dissociation, fluid overload, gastric ulcer. Etodolac dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, VENLAFAXINE, CYPROHEPTADINE, FUROSEMIDE, RANITIDINE, TERAZOSIN, SIMVASTATIN, BISACODYL. Patient died on 12/20/2004.
