Etidronate side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 17, 2004. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with osteoporosis
, osteoarthritis
and was treated with Etidronate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, haematemesis, haemoglobin decreased, hiatus hernia, oesophagitis, portal hypertensive gastropathy. Etidronate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, LANSOPRAZOLE, CALCIUM CARBONATE AND CHOLECALCIFEROL, HYDROXYZINE HYDROCHLORIDE, THIAMINE, ATENOLOL, ACETAMINOPHEN AND CODEINE PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
