Ethambutol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 28, 2008. Female patient, weighting 83.11 lb, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Ethambutol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: thrombocytopenia. Ethambutol dosage: 1000MG TIW (M,W,F) PO. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPIN, ISONIAZID, HISTINEX, DILTIAZEM. Patient recovered.
