Male patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with mycobacterium avium complex infection and was treated with Ethambutol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cataract What is  cataract, cerebral atrophy, cerebral ischaemia, chromatopsia, lacunar infarction, maculopathy, optic ischaemic neuropathy. Ethambutol dosage: 1400 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPICIN, CLARITHROMYCIN, LISINOPRIL W. Patient recovered.
