Ethambutol side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 11, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Ethambutol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema, hypoaesthesia, tongue coated. Ethambutol dosage: 1200 MGM PO. Patient recovered.

Ethambutol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 29, 2007. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with tuberculosis  and was treated with Ethambutol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , antibody test positive, antinuclear antibody positive, arthralgia, blood immunoglobulin a increased, complement factor c3 increased, crepitations, erythema, glomerulonephritis proliferative. Ethambutol dosage: 750 MG. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPICIN, ISONIAZID, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
