Etanercept side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from KOREA, REPUBLIC OF on May 15, 2007. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Etanercept. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acid fast bacilli infection, adenoviral upper respiratory infection, lupus pneumonitis, pleural effusion, systemic lupus erythematosus, thrombocytopenia. Etanercept dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, PREDNISOLONE, NSAIDS. Patient recovered.
