Etanercept side effect was reported by a Health Professional from KOREA, REPUBLIC OF on Nov 30, 2006. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Etanercept. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acid fast bacilli infection, adenoviral upper respiratory infection, anaemia, cachexia, gingival bleeding, lung infiltration, mouth ulceration, pleural effusion, pneumonitis. Etanercept dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, PREDNISOLONE, NSAIDS. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, PREDNISONE, CALCIUM WITH VITAMIN D, DARVOCET, MEPRON, FERROUS SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anaemia, anuria, fungal infection , haemodialysis, lung infiltration, pneumonia , rash , renal tubular necrosis. Etanercept dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE, CLOTRIMAZOLE, GLIPIZIDE, HYDROXYZINE PAMOATE, IBUPROFEN, LISINOPRIL, METFORMIN. Patient died on 05/05/2005.
