Eskazole and pancytopenia Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Eskazole Side Effects Report #5670913-1
Eskazole side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Mar 13, 2008. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with echinococciasis and was treated with Eskazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, pancytopenia, red blood cell count decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Eskazole dosage: 200MG THREE TIMES PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with GLYCYRON, URSO, GASLON N, HARNAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Eskazole side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Aug 18, 2005. Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with echinococciasis, hepatic cirrhosis, hypothyroidism and was treated with Eskazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pancytopenia. Eskazole dosage: 800MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SALOFALK, URSO FALK, ALDACTONE, HUMATIN, PANTOPRAZOL, LACTULOSE, EUTHYROX. Patient died on 08/22/2005.
