Erythrocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 10, 2001. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia primary atypical, cardiac disorder, hyperuricaemia, hypertension, ventricular arrhythmia and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, anuria, dyspnoea, left ventricular failure, renal failure acute, respiratory failure. Erythrocin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFOTAXIME, DIPYRIDAMOLE, ALLOPURINOL, MANIDIPINE HYDROCHLORIDE, MEXILETINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ASPIRIN, TERAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Erythrocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 25, 2004. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with nocardiosis, renal transplant and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: multi-organ failure, pancreatitis acute, respiratory failure. Erythrocin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTA, TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/26/2003.
