Erythrocin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on May 02, 2006. Female patient, child 9 years of age, weighting 84.22 lb, was diagnosed with lower respiratory tract infection and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aphagia, chapped lips, conjunctivitis, haematochezia, haemoptysis, melaena, swelling face. Erythrocin dosage: 20 ML, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 92.59 lb, was diagnosed with legionella infection, lung neoplasm malignant and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, haemoptysis. Erythrocin dosage: unknown. Patient died on 09/04/1982.
