Erythrocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 10, 2001. Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia primary atypical, cardiac disorder, hyperuricaemia, hypertension, ventricular arrhythmia and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, anuria, dyspnoea, left ventricular failure, renal failure acute, respiratory failure. Erythrocin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFOTAXIME, DIPYRIDAMOLE, ALLOPURINOL, MANIDIPINE HYDROCHLORIDE, MEXILETINE HYDROCHLORIDE, ASPIRIN, TERAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with asthma What is  asthma, bronchitis What is  bronchitis and was treated with Erythrocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, laryngeal oedema, pharyngeal oedema, vomiting. Erythrocin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THEOPHYLLINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
